Nottingham has pledged generously to the UK music scene over the years; from legendary parties like Renaissance and Drop The Bomb (a cornerstone of the once dominant Breaks scene) to groundbreaking clubs like Stealth. 

The resulting hotbed has given us a wealth of wicked DJ's and producers - and the Inland Knights are a fine example. This mix captures their vibe perfectly, from sexy disco loops to jackin' house cuts. It's a proper bumpfest! 

They say there's a first time for everything and this weeks Yes List is no exception. Never before have we Yes Listed someone before their debut EP has even hit the shelves. Maybe we're in a good mood? Maybe it's the hearty whiff of optimism that lingers in the January air? Or maybe it's the fact that every time we hear the drop that follows the main break on Amirali's Beautiful World our bodies contort into the the worlds biggest goosebump before promptly drowning in a pool of our own serotonin. 

The good people at ID Magazine recently asked us to put together an exclusive mix and pen a short piece about some of the artists we think are gonna bust-up 2012.

If a picture says a thousand words, what do twenty pictures say? 

Well, when it comes to the contents of a certain DJ's phone, they say 'I have an unhealthy appetite for Photoshop, a penchant for men in bra's and occasionally take photos of (what appears to be) the inside of a nursery school'. 

Last night we dedicated our our In New DJ's Radio 1 show to the people we think are gonna own 2012 - some brand new names, some names that have been bubbling away for a few months and some names that have already got it locked, but are clearly still getting bigger.

As well as DJing at a massive Reset! party, we also caught up with lots of our Milanese friends, as well as meeting young designers, journalists and business owners who are all part of the ever changing dynamic of nu skool Italy.

2011 has been our biggest year to date; we've thrown parties in cities all over the UK, spent the Summer with We Love… Space in Ibiza and got the Moda studios running full steam. 

The plans we have for 2012 are next level. The artists, events and releases we've got loaded are gonna be something else. But we'll tell you about that later! 

In the meantime we've compiled our Top 20 of 2011 (in no specific order). We've left out our own music, as we felt that would be a bit weird. We've also answered a handful of rapid fire questions about the last 12 months.
